As the creation of Archoral began, so did the need for a space to process…
We needed a loading dock for all of the moving trucks, a nice big open space for sorting and digitizing, and office space for the team. We found the perfect commercial space in a suburb of Atlanta and had everything trucked yet again.
So after lots of stacking, unstacking, and sorting – we finally had an idea of what family history I had drug across the United States. It was time to turn it into an actual climate-controlled archive, fitting training videos and site visits!
Of course, that meant moving EVERYTHING I had just organized out of the warehouse!
Thankfully, the buildout was taking place while LaVern and I were in India because we packed all of the office spaces to the brink—in an organized manner, of course!
So it began…
Upon returning from our trip, I was greeted by a freshly painted warehouse that was now sealed, climate-controlled, and suitable for memorabilia!
Just waiting on the carpet and it’s off to the races!
