Exploring RootsTech: A gathering of all things Family History

Exploring the world's largest family history conference.

Once a year, Salt Lake City hosts one of the largest Genealogy Conventions. A multi-day learning experience with classes, seminars, and presentations on how to enhance your family history journey.

RootsTech also has an expo hall that’s filled to the brim with vendors who support one’s family history journey in all aspects. Be it DNA testing, photo storage, archiving methods, scanning techniques, or even artistic family tree printouts, it’s impossible not to find something here that piques your interest. It’s an amazing place to network and find new things. So what better place for a family archiving tech company to be? Gotta stay on top of the latest happenings in the industry! So three of us decided to fly (from three different states!) to meet up – learn, brainstorm, and advance our offerings! There are so many wonderful companies that we look forward to partnering with. So much knowledge and so many tips and tricks! Keep an eye on the future. Our Archoral logo will be hanging from these rafters one day soon!

One day Archoral will be on this main stage telling you all about the features our Family History Application has to offer!

Every year RootsTech USA is held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah

It’s surrounded by wonderful hotels, Air BNB’s, restaurants etc.

Plan some extra time for a trip to the LDS Family History library to do some research while you’re there!

Capture (as much or as little) in-depth details from each piece of media to shape a story.

Read on to learn how the Archoral Indexer transforms your collections into detailed profiles, timelines, and more!

Kate spent close to 30 years in the Film Industry as a Prop Master and a storyteller. Creating the background story for characters as well as crafting relatable items for each one, she knows how "things" can be a window into a persona. As the keeper of her family's history archive as well as an obsessively organized person, Kate wanted a more comprehensive program for collating and combining her family's stories, as each human, present, and past can be told through the pieces of their lives. Hence, the creation of the Archoral!
