Another chapter in our journey to create a new, more comprehensive archiving application!
Thanks to LaVern’s decades with General Motors, working in IT, and all things computer, we are so lucky to have an amazing global team to help build Archoral!
After a few years of Google Meet video chats, eons of screen sharing, and the inability for me to wander around while I talked, it was time for LaVern and I to travel to Bangalore, India, and meet our core team face-to-face. This particular continent is home to a handful of her past contacts that excel in the design, flow, and implementation of websites and applications.
It’s been 10 days of innovation, inspiration, and problem-solving!
There was so much to discuss.
- Where are we now?
- Where do we see ourselves going?
- How do we make this crazy thing a reality?
But the most important topics of all:
- With so many photo management and family history archiving applications on the market, how do we talk about what makes our unique and desirable for all?
- What tools and functions do we need to present first? Second? We have massive intentions and we need to develop them in waves.
Thankfully we have a very organized team with out-of-the-box thinking!
Family history archiving will no longer be a boring, stagnant, one person job.
Excitement, interaction, and connections are the way of the future with Archoral!
There is something glorious about the power of telecommunication, but nothing beats in-person brainstorming.
Each of our department heads is so engaged in the product, creativity flooded the room daily.
We are blessed to have such brilliant minds bringing our application to life.
The opportunity to eat tons of amazing food and meet everyone’s family was beyond fun!
There is nothing like food, drinks, conversation, and dancing to build great bonds!
While true to my cowboy heritage, sorry y’all, we didn’t invent line dancing!
A big Thank You to LaVern for making this trip, and the dream of Archoral possible!
Without a doubt the best business partner to conduct our crazy train!
No, I didn’t want to go home!
It was such a wonderful trip and nothing beats collaborating in person.
Family history archiving will no longer be a boring, stagnant, one person job.
Read on to learn how Archoral Groups will help you collaborate on the story of your family!
